With Alexis Sanchez's opportunities at Barcelona limited this term, a growing number of European clubs have expressed an interest in the forward.
Just one goal has emanated from a campaign that has seen Sanchez start only nine games, and the Chilean international could now call time on a mixed Nou Camp career.
Liverpool are the latest to join the chase for the player, and the Reds will have to fend off competition from Juventus and Napoli if they are to land the 24-year-old.

A return to Serie A could prove tempting for Sanchez, considering the success he enjoyed as a Udinese player, but the opportunity to join Brendan Rodgers' Anfield revolution may also be difficult to resist.
Indeed, the idea of Sanchez joining Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge in the Merseyside club's attacking ranks will be a mouth-watering prospect for Reds fans.
But Liverpool would be required to make a significant outlay if they were to tie up a deal for Sanchez, as Barca would aim to recoup much of the £23m they paid for the electric frontman two years ago.
Meanwhile, 'Pool could also make a much less costly move for another attacker this summer.
Dulwich Hamlet striker Daniel Carr has done enough to earn a trial on Merseyside, having scored 23 goals in as many games in the Isthmian League Division One South this season.
The 18-year-old has attracted attention from a number of Premier League and Championship sides, with Liverpool the only club to firm up their interest.
And as such, they look in pole position to land the forward, who has impressed visiting Reds scouts throughout the season, most notably via his unerring finishing ability.
Should Carr complete a dream move to the five-time European champions, he would play his domestic football at an astonishing eight levels above his current standard.
